A Sunmaster 1000W conversion Metal Halide (MH-HPS) lamp is a specialized horticultural grow light that lets you run a Metal Halide bulb using an existing 1000-watt High-Pressure Sodium (HPS) or digital ballast.
-
Ballast Compatibility: Operates directly on standard HPS systems or high-frequency electronic ballasts without needing a dedicated MH ballast.
-
Vegetative Growth: Emits a cool, balanced, blue-spectrum light (6500°K) that mimics natural daylight to promote strong, compact vegetative plant growth.
-
Dual-Stage Flexibility: Allows indoor gardeners to use a Metal Halide spectrum during a plant's early growth phase and later switch back to an HPS bulb for flowering, all without replacing the main ballast unit
